What many do not realize... the ability to write a solid estimate can literally be the difference between eating... and not eating. Going back to the 9-5 for someone else, or getting a coveted position where it is a bonus.
Unfortunately, the administrative side is not as easy to earn in. Most folks don't even realize it is a thing, and certainly have not prescribed it out to the masses... Estimating on the other hand, can be used in so many fields on so many levels.
If you are a PIA, starting out or in it for years... others will hire you to write for them. All Contractors/Roofers should have an excellent knowledge of the entire process.
We offer that on the estimating/field side.
I do not care which "side" of the "fence" you are on, the way a claim is scoped and written should not vary by massive amounts... Period. Unless... one does not know how the policy or the machine works.

Monday-Wednesday morning, we will teach Xactimate Level 1 and 2. Wednesday afternoon, we will scope an actual loss, return and prepare a real world estimate. Once completed, we will go over that estimate as if we were in the field. I will be the opposing adjuster...
This camp is to teach others specifically how we estimate claims... in the real world. Not only providing the Xactimate portion, but how the claim is actually written and received in reality.
